Hi Ralph, I know we lost touch a few years back...a lot has changed here in Spain! Jose has retired etc. But this is still your cousin Anna, notwithstanding the "uk" email addy. I'll be in touch by email soon. I'm sorry we lost touch and I hope to catch up soon.

Just installed Ubuntu on one of my computers. Interesting to see how well it runs on a P-III 800MHz.
I love Ubuntu Linux for desktop and laptop use, it's based on Debian GNU/Linux with some great additions to polish it up. Ubuntu worked very well on my Pentium III IBM Thinkpad with 384MB of memory, which is similar performance-wise to your machine. Presently I run Ubuntu on my Xeon workstation and Toshiba Satellite laptop. I still prefer straight Debian for my .com server near the ceiling on top the kitchen cabinet. Let us know how it works out for you or if you need any help with it

Kevin C, thanks for stopping by. Looks like the contents of the bird subdirectory accidentally was overwritten with the home computer overview. We'll restore it from backup.

We love the pictures of your family. I wish I could have been there to see Kevin's 2 lovebirds. I really like lovebirds. They taste like chicken. When can I set up my booth at the Rockford Center for Advanced Technology? I hope you rake in dough with this. That means I get a bigger booth. Give Christina, PJ, and Su-Ly a big hug from Grandpa and Grandma. Let us know if you need anything
